If you’ve been following my skincare journey, you know I’m obsessed with my Youth to the People cleanser — it’s hands down my holy grail.
That said, at $36 a bottle, it’s not exactly budget-friendly, so I’ve been testing a few more affordable options to see if they can live up to the hype. Here’s what I’ve found so far!
1. Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm – Perfect for Double Cleansing
The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm is a standout if you’re looking for something gentle and nourishing. It excels at removing makeup, especially stubborn products, but I find it works best as the first step in a double cleanse rather than a standalone option. That said, it leaves skin soft and calm, making it a solid affordable addition to your routine.
Itches, flakes, or pure bliss?! Treatments that calm, revive, and wow your scalp!
Can skin survive frost?! Thick, rich, and cozy moisturizers that fight winter dryness!
Makeup meltdown? Never again! Gentle, rich, and silky smooth!
Which shade steals the show?! Swipes, shine, and bold vibes—your pout’s next obsession!
Which product tops the list?! Creams, glosses, and surprises—your skin will thank you!
Which mask works wonders?! Soothing, glowy, and pampering—your skin’s next obsession!
2. Bubble Skincare Gel Cleanser – Gentle and Lightweight
I’ve also been trying the Bubble Skincare Gel Cleanser, which is surprisingly gentle and soothing, much like the Youth to the People cleanser. It’s light on the skin and leaves a refreshed feeling without tightness or dryness. While it’s promising, I still slightly prefer the YTP formula for that perfect balance of cleansing and nourishment.
The search for an affordable, effective cleanser continues! The Inkey List Oat Balm is amazing for double cleansing, and the Bubble Skincare Gel is gentle and refreshing. While nothing has fully replaced my Youth to the People favorite, both are solid, wallet-friendly options to consider. What’s your go-to cleanser when you want results without splurging?
